From “I need” to “I can”.

The Go Group’s programmes are based on proven development practices which are rooted in applied science. There are no handouts or donations in any of our programmes.

The
Process

We only recruit candidates who meet our strict requirements. Selected candidates are first evaluated and then assigned to one of our programmes. Our methodology includes a continuous cycle of evaluation, optimisation, and measurement. Candidates graduate once they demonstrate independence and meet a programme’s goals.

Step 1

Recruit

Potential candidates apply to participate in our programmes. Using strict screening criteria, we select a handful of people who are committed to making a change and taking responsibility for their journey.

Intake dates are announced on our Whatsapp group. Join the group to stay in the loop.
Step 2

Evaluate

Candidates who meet our strict selection criteria are then evaluated. Our evaluation process is designed to reveal how a candidate’s response to challenges is keeping them stuck. Candidates are continually evaluated throughout the programme.
Occupational Intelligence Levels
Our evaluations are based on the A2B Movement's rigorous Occupational Intelligence Levels. Each candidate’s occupational intelligence is measured across seven levels.
Step 3

Optimise

Based on the evaluation results, candidates are assigned to one of our programmes. The programmes were developed alongside occupational therapists, psychologists, and experienced development practitioners with the aim of breaking the cycle of dependency.
Learning Areas
All of our programmes contain the following learning areas:
  • One-on-one mentorship
  • Money management
  • Marketing skills
  • Record-keeping skills
  • Out-of-comfort zone occupational intelligence activities
  • "Let’s Talk Disability"
  • Gender-based violence and neurological reformation
  • Quality of life diagnostics
Step 4

Measure

We rigorously measure each candidate’s performance to track how effectively the programme is facilitating lasting change. Candidates who continually fail to meet the development targets are released from the programme.
Measurement Criteria
Candidates are measured according to the following criteria:
  • Performance
  • Attendance
  • Occupational Intelligence
Step 5

Graduate

A candidate graduates once they demonstrate autonomy and independence, and achieve a programme’s goals.
